WHAT IT IS Assistant General Manager YOUR COMMITMENT 40
hours/week WHAT YOU WILL EARN $55-60K annually HOW IT IS SCHEDULED Opening, Closing, and Mid shifts o AM shifts:
6 to 7 am (based on 9 AM opening and setting priorities for team) o PM shifts:
till 7 pm (based on 6 pm close; one hour to close store) o Mid:
8 to 4 or 9 to 5 Store hours:
9am to 6pm, Tuesday through Sunday.
Closed Mondays.
1 weekend day required each week.
Summer, Fall and Holidays will require a commitment.
OF UTMOST IMPORTANCE - WHAT YOU'LL DO Models the behaviors that exemplify our mission, We feed our Community! and holds others accountable for doing the same Provides the guidance, training, and leadership necessary to run the business in the absence of the General Manager Maintains the schedule and other admin duties related to the grocery category Sets (and holds) the standard of jaw-dropping merchandising in a clean, upbeat atmosphere Regularly partners with Produce and Prepared Foods Managers to ensure visual continuity and readiness for sales volume Leads the cashier team to ensure our customers end their shopping experience with a great feeling that makes them want to return Is able to be nimble and think on their feet in regard to problem-solving in a variety of areas, with consistent focus on our goal of 100% customer satisfaction Collaborates with the IT Manager in our Woodstock HQ on all ECRS (our POS system), hardware, and back-of-house technology issues Organizes on-floor demos and other marketing efforts in collaboration with the Marketing Department and buying team, as well as with outside vendors Assists in sourcing and buying interesting, authentic products in the grocery category As is often the case, keep in mind that Of Utmost Importance describes the general nature and level of work performed in your job.

Requirements:
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Frequently raise or lower objects up to 40 pounds from one level to another regularly Remain on feet in upright position for continuous periods of time Walk throughout store, including to other buildings and outdoor areas Exerting force upon a regular basis so object is moved to or from team member Carrying objects up to 40 pounds on a regular basis Grasping and/or picking up objects Regularly reaching for objects Bending forward by bending at waist or bending legs and spine Job Type:
