We are looking for an Engineer in our Waterbury, VT office with 1 to 3 years of experience who will perform both field and office work in the civil/environmental discipline. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to get their career started with an established engineering firm that offers a variety of services.
This individual will be responsible for meeting with clients, scheduling activities, tracking budgets and design work. In addition, the proposed candidate will:
Assist the Senior Engineer with engineering studies, designs, and specifications.
Visit job sites to perform on-site inspections and/or field work that may include oversight of contractors and subcontractors.
Prepare reports and proposals, bid documents, project scopes, and budgets.
The individual will also perform other project tasks as directed by the project manager and senior engineer. This may include preparation of and participation in training programs or seminars.

Job Requirements :
The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering with related experience including field work, report preparation, and AutoCAD. The candidate will have strong written and communication skills and be familiar with AutoCAD, ArcGIS, and MS Office. MS Access and Hydraulic Modeling is a plus. EIT is preferred.
